With the use of an oral fluid collection device, you will then be required to provide a sample of your saliva. For an express oral fluid test, the tester will determine if any substances are present in your sample. For a lab-based oral fluid test, the tester will send the sample to the laboratory. Lab results typically take 2-5 business days. You will be contacted by a medical review officer if either your lab-based drug screen or express drug screen is positive. Again, the medical review officer will confirm the positive results with you, so make sure the information you provide is correct and up-to-date.
